I would never give any kind of meds to my cat unless they were prescribed by the doctor. You could kill an animal.

Tylenol is toxic to both cats and dogs and cats are even more sensitive than dogs. Ibuprofen is also toxic. You should not give any human medicine to dogs or cats without a vet's advice. People have killed their pets by self-medicating or by having their pets get into common human medications. Don't let it happen.

My first thought was that it could be an allergic reaction to fleas. But if your kitty is flea-free, could it possibly be an allergic reaction to the Cosequin?

Dont hisetate. Take her to a vet IMEDITALY that COULD be a serious infection of the skin, it could be verry well minor but DONT take any chances. It sounds like she may have a slight mold infection. And it is verry likley that it is only an allergic reacation to the meds that she is on.

The outdoor cat drools when he's really happy, but when any of the indoor cats drool excessively, it's because they have a tooth that is giving them a lot of pain. We get them in to have their mouth looked at by the vet.

I am sure she is not happy about the newcomer. However, drooling is often a sign of nausea in a cat. Hopefully, everything is fine in the litter box with her. If not, a vet visit would be advised.

One of my cats was drooling up a storm. Lots of drool. It started and stopped, but by the time I got her to the vet, nothing wrong, and she didn't do it again.
